FRIDAY PRACTICE: Dan Wheldon was fourth fastest in Friday practice with a lap time of 15.6902 seconds (172.082 mph) while Scott Dixon set the fifth fastest lap time of the day in 15.7525 seconds (171.401 mph). Tony Kanaan set the fastest lap time in 15.6093 seconds (172.974 mph)
CHIP GANASSI RACING DRIVER DEVELOPMENT: After recently celebrating his 18th birthday and high school graduation, Chip Ganassi Racing development driver Bryan Clauson is at Richmond International Raceway (RIR) this weekend as well to compete in the USAC National Sprint car racing on Friday, June 29.
At the close of the first Sprint Car practice session, Clauson was fastest, with a lap at 19.767 seconds (136.591 mph) then set the second fastest time in the second session with a lap time of 19.861 seconds.
