Team and Driver Prepared for Finale in Texas
After a season that had its share of ups and downs, PDM and driver Ed Carpenter are prepared to end the season on a high note.
"We believe we will have something for our competition next weekend in Texas," said owner Paul Diatlovich. "The guys on the team have the car ready, and Tim (Wardrop, Team Engineer) has been hard at work doing what he does best- providing Ed with the best set up possible."
PDM driver Ed Carpenter is also looking forward to racing in one of the most exciting events on the IndyCar™ schedule. "Obviously this will be the last race of the year for both the IndyCar™ Series and the Menards Infiniti Pro Series but will be my third IndyCar™ Series start," said Ed. " I have had two solid finishes in my first two IndyCar™ Series outings, so I hope to capitalize on that and have another good race. The PDM Racing team has given me a good car, so with a little luck on my side, I hope to have another good race and get some more experience to prepare for next season."
Ed has scored two thirteenth place finishes (Chicago and Fontana) in as many starts, and has run towards the front of the field on both occasions.
The team will depart from Indianapolis on Thursday. As always, we will provide updates all weekend long.
