Big Tex Hitches with Treadway for Boomtown 500
Indianapolis: Big Tex Trailers, a Texas based trailer manufacturer and related parts supplier, will join the Treadway-Hubbard Racing team for the Boomtown 500 INDY Racing League event at the Texas Motor Speedway this Saturday as the title sponsor for their #55 entry driven by Rick Treadway.
"We are excited to again be sponsoring Treadway-Hubbard Racing in our home state of Texas," said President and CEO Ricky Baker of Big Tex Trailers. "We had a ball at last Octobers race in our first race with the Treadway team and Ricky does an outstanding job on track and with our customers. We're looking forward to being back at the Texas Motor Speedway this weekend with Ricky and the Treadway team."
Big Tex Trailers was the title sponsor on Rick Treadway's entry in the 2001 Chevy 500 from the Texas Motor Speedway. Treadway finished fifth in that event, his best Indy Racing League finish to date.
