HVM RACING RETURNS TO MILWAUKEE

Indianapolis, IN (May 28, 2008) - HVM Racing and driver E.J. Viso are back in action this weekend for the ABC Supply/ AJ Foyt 225 at the Milwaukee Mile. After an unfortunate end to a productive month of May at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, E.J. and the team had to pick themselves up after last Sunday's race and get their Dallara turned around and prepped for the much different one-mile un-banked oval just up the road at Milwaukee.

The Milwaukee Mile is one circuit on the 2008 schedule that the HVM squad has experienced. Known for being the oldest continually operating race track in the U.S., it is another unique challenge for the Rookie driver. As a team, HVM Racing won the 250 lap race there in 2004 (under the banner Herdez Competition) in the Champ Car World Series and led every lap on the way to victory with current fellow IndyCar competitor, Ryan Hunter-Reay. They also finished 3rd in 2006 with Nelson Philippe under the CTE-HVM Racing banner, also in the Champ Car World Series. The practical knowledge of the tendencies of this track, even though the previous outings were in different chassis, should be a benefit to both driver and team for this event. Out of the 18 race schedule, the Milwaukee Mile is one of only a few circuits that the team has visited in recent years.

E.J. will be on track Friday, May 30 for Rookie practice and then qualifying on Saturday. The 225 lap race will begin on Sunday at 4:00 pm Eastern on ABC.

EJ Viso:

"From what I have been told, the track at Milwaukee is a completely different configuration from what we have seen so far this season. My engineer tells me that this place is the most like a road circuit compared to any of the other ovals, and equally as challenging as Indy. I'm expecting it to be difficult, but I have the confidence in my team that they have seen success at Milwaukee, and I have to trust their knowledge of it. I'm looking forward to the challenge, and just as every track on the schedule this year, it is new to me. I think we have made great improvements since the first race of the season and it will continue to show."

Keith Wiggins, Team Owner:

"It will be nice to go to a track that we recognize, but besides that, it will be business as usual for us as we continue to develop our IndyCar program. We are looking for a good result now and hopefully good weather as well."
