Montoya talks pressure at Team Penske and 2015 expectations

Speaking from a busy tour promoting the Long Beach Grand Prix, Juan Pablo Montoya told Motorsport.com that adding a fourth car at Penske only puts the pressure on the other three drivers already at the team.

"This year adding Simon (Pagenaud) to the squad is a great thing. Adding the fourth car, the potential for the team to win the championship is huge, to win Indy is huge," said Montoya.

"It makes it hard because you've really got to run hard or you are going to suck. Overall it's a great thing though."

Montoya said that his core group of mechanics and engineers have stayed the same for 2015, albeit a couple of personnel.

His expectations for 2015? Driving for the team that claimed the 2014 title means Montoya wants the big prize.

"Being a part of Team Penske is something special. After such an amazing year last season, you can’t expect too little. You want to come into this year with more hunger to win. Will (Power) did an amazing job and as a team we won the championship," the 39-year-old said.

"But my god you want to do it yourself, and you want to help your team win another championship."

Still questions ahead of St. Pete

With a couple days to continue to ponder the questions of how the aero kits will compete with one another, or even survive the hard charging nature of an IndyCar race, Montoya is calling it the big question.

"It’s the million dollar question," he said.

"We haven’t driven the cars. It's something that we have to wait and see what happens."

Something new for fans in 2015

No matter the outcome of aero kit testing, fans will be treated to a great show in St. Pete according to Montoya.

"They are going to see great show, it's going to be exciting because the cars are going to look different, they are going to be quicker. The show is going to be that much better."
