Dominguez qualifying disallowed at Michigan

Herdez-Pegaso-backed driver Mario Domínguez's car failed post-qualifying technical inspection due to a one-pound tire pressure difference. He will have to start from the last spot of the grid on the Dayton Indy Lights race Detroit News 100, which will be held on the 2-mile circuit oval of Michigan Speedway, this Saturday.

Mario Domínguez, Car #7, Herdez/Pegaso Team: "We did not do it well. We were slow, but we already knew that it was going to happen on this way, because we worked mainly on the set up of the car for the race. Unfortunately, my time was disallowed after the technical inspection, but this does not affect us really, since we were penultimate (17th) and now we are 18th. Nonetheless, the most important is the race result and if in other races we were able to regain positions to finish with a good result, I think we can do it again."
