Airton Dare, #1 Banestado Lola - Finished 19th:

Dare retired from the race on Lap 5 after hitting the wall in Turn 6 while running in second position. He was uninjured.

Guy Smith, #6 Swift Caravans Lola - Finished 6th:

"I didn't think we were going to get more than five laps in with all the yellows. Jonny (Kane) and I were running similar speeds, but I wasn't able to get close enough when it counted. The car was good but I had lots of understeer on the concrete portions of the track and that was our basic problem in qualifying. I feel like we made a lot of progress this weekend and I learned a lot. Sometimes you have to take a step back to go forward. We just have to keep pushing on."
