El piloto Herdez/Pegaso Mario Domínguez, se clasificó en la posición 13, al marcar su mejor vuelta en un tiempo de 29.755 segundos con un promedio de velocidad de 247.231 Kph., para la carrera del Campeonato Dayton Indy Lights, que se disputará este domingo sobre el óvalo del Gateway International Raceway en Madison, Illinois.
Mario Domínguez, auto # 7, Herdez/Pegaso Team: "El auto se iba de atrás en la mañana y eso es peligroso. Los cambios que hicimos para la calificación, no sirvieron de nada y básicamente, tuvimos el mismo problema todo el tiempo. Esperamos que mañana puedan mejorar el auto para la carrera."
Ramiro Fidalgo, ingeniero del Herdez/Pegaso Team: "Tuvimos un auto mal balanceado. Gateway es un óvalo con curvas de varios tipos, una lenta y una rápida. En la lenta el auto presentó understeer, mientras que en la rápida presentó oversteer. En resumen, no hemos podido balancear el auto para que esté bien en los dos tipos de curvas."
