INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Rookie driver Cole Carter and new team American Revolution Racing (ARR) managed to find a little room for improvement during the second practice session for the Futaba Freedom 100. Carter put the #77 Dallara/Infiniti/Firestone in the second fastest position for the session and found more speed for this afternoon's qualification session. Carter and ARR have completed their first two practice sessions and are now prepared for their first-ever qualification run in Menards Infiniti Pro Series Competition.
Cole Carter, #77 Dallara/Infiniti/Firestone:
On second practice session:
"It was good. We didn't really run a whole lot of laps. We just wanted to scuff the tires for qualifying and work on a couple of little things for our qualifying run. We went beyond the edge a little bit on one of the laps so we know where our boundary is, so I think we should be pretty good. We'll just try and get it nice and smooth for qualifying and see where we'll start."
