PRE-RACE QUOTES:

P.J. CHESSON (No. 76 Mo Nunn Racing Dallara/Infiniti/Firestone): "We had a terrific result last week in Milwaukee. While we didn't necessarily have the fastest car there, as a team, we learned what it means to stay focused and not give up. Avoiding trouble on the track is as important as finding your speed. We look forward to riding the momentum into Michigan and finishing strong again. For the most part, all of these tracks are brand new to me, so I'm going to continue to rely on Butch (Winkle), Brian (Welling) and the rest of the crew to get me through it."

PAUL DANA (No. 91 Ethanol/Hemelgarn Johnson Dallara/Infiniti/Firestone): "The Hemelgarn Johnson guys have given me a great car for the big tracks all year, so we expect to be up front. That track is weird. It's one of the biggest tracks we go to. Seems like it would be easy flat out for our cars. But last year at least after the Craftsman Trucks ran, we had kind of hot and windy conditions during the race, it was real slick during the race, it ends up a driver's track and handling track. It will be interesting to see what the track does this year. It's not as easy as it seems given how big a place it is. You got to have everything working to do well."

THIAGO MEDEIROS (No. 11 Sam Schmidt Motorsports Dallara/Infiniti/Firestone): "It was a frustrating weekend for the team. We know we'll be competitive at Michigan. We've been competitive everywhere we've went. It was just a bad weekend. I'm just trying to forget about and think about the next race ones. The bigger tracks are more competitive, and they aren't about driving and setup. They are just about who's in the right place. We've won four of the first six races and I hope we'll be just as good in the other half of the season too."
