SIMMONS GIVES KENN HARDLEY RACING FIRST WIN

WEST ALLIS, Wis., Sunday, July 24, 2005 -- Jeff Simmons, starting seventh, passed series points leader Wade Cunningham in Turn 1 of Lap 97 and went on to give Kenn Hardley Racing its first victory in the Menards Infiniti Pro Series.

Nick Bussell finished third in the No. 9 Vision Racing car, matching his season and career best. Jon Herb, who joined pole sitter Jaime Camara on the front row, was fourth in the No. 6 AERCON car, while Camara finished fifth.

MILWAUKEE 100 POST-RACE QUOTES:

JEFF SIMMONS (No. 24 Team ISI Dallara/Infiniti/Firestone): "It was really slippery, and I think the track got a little bit better while we were running. Those first few laps everybody was trying to figure it out, and a lot of us were able to move up at the beginning. I was able to get the feel for it a little quicker than some of the other guys I think. But there at the end, me and Wade (Cunningham) gave it a heck of a battle. I didn't know if I was going to get him. I was counting on that draft at the end."

(About winning for Kenn Hardley Racing): "This is huge. They've been in it since almost the beginning. Kenn is such a great guy and loyal to everybody on the team. Really trying to help me out by getting me in front of people and allowing me to show what I can do in the race car. I'm so happy for him and the family and for his company, ISI."

(About winning at The Milwaukee Mile): "Just awesome. It's also one of the toughest tracks in terms of the ovals as well. You saw that with the way the guys were sliding around here today. It was hot, it was greasy and a long race. I mean 100 laps on the same set of tires is a testament to Firestone as well and the Infiniti engines."
