El dia de hoy en el dificil y estrecho circuito callejero de Toronto se llevaron acaba las primeras sesiones tanto de practica como de calificacion, donde Derek Higgins, piloto del equipo Mexpro Racing / PrecioBase.com / StarlightDiamonds.com / Quaker State se encuentra en la sextaa posicion provisional con miras a la carrera del domingo.
DEREK HIGGINS.- "Durante la practica estuvimos con low downforce y estuvimos en la cuarta posicion, cambiamos algunas cosas antes de la calificacion y durante esta decidimos intentar con High Downforce para ver que tanto podiamos mejorar, sin embargo hubo un incidente de Luis Diaz faltando siete minutos en la sesion de calificacion y termino en ese momento. Tenemos informacion con ambas configuraciones y en este momento el equipo se encuentra estudiando esta para realizar cambios, pero estoy seguro que mañana lograremos una buena posicion de arranque, la cual es vital en esta carrera."
GUSTAVO DEL CAMPO.- "Finalmente tenemos potencia de nuevo en el Auto de Derek, con la informacion de hoy tendremos un mejor auto para mañana, lo que nos tenia en problemas eran los motores, extrañamos a Rudy y esperamos se recupere lo mas pronto posible"
