In the second Firestone Indy Lights race of the weekend, Panther driver Dillon Battistini finished 15th, which enabled the British driver to move up one position in the championship standings. He is now in fifth position, with one race remaining at Chicagoland Speedway. Teammate Brent Sherman finished 22nd after spinning early in the race. Sherman also improved by one spot, and is currently 11th in the points battle.

Dillon Battistini, No. 15 National Guard Delphi:

"I am going to put this weekend behind me. I am looking forward to putting on a strong performance in Chicago. I'll be aiming for my fifth win of the season, and hopefully I will be able to reclaim third position in the championship. The season as gone well to date, and winning the season finale would be fantastic."

Brent Sherman, No. 16 National Guard Delphi:

"I am looking forward to another shot to win on an oval. Since it is our last race, it will be my last chance this season, and I'd like to go out with a bang. It would be great to do it in front of all my friends and family. Hopefully I'll be able to make it happen."
