Motorsport has been part of Heiko's life since his childhood, when he was placed into a kart at the age of four. His motorsport experience was shaped by the spectacular touring car races of the 1990s, and already back at young age he started analysing races as a hobby. His career in motorsport coverage started in 2010. Since, he has been working as editor, circuit speaker and commentator. Having worked for two other websites before, Heiko joined Motorsport-Total.com in 2015, which ultimately became part of Motorsport Network in Germany. He is also working as commentator at DAZN and Sport1. Occasionally he takes part in track days in his own Honda S2000.
