CF RACING AMPS UP FOR SKUSA SUPERNATIONALS IN LAS VEGAS
Cory Cacciavillani prepared for second trip to North America's most prestigious race

Leamington, ON - The CF Racing Team will closeout their 2010 racing season this fall by once again traveling to Las Vegas, Nevada, USA to compete in North America's most prestigious karting race, the SKUSA SuperNationals held from November 17 to 21. Cory Cacciavillani made his SuperNationals debut last year, and returns to Sin City knowing what he needs to compete for victory.

After racing in the very intense TaG Junior class last year, Cacciavillani steps up to the Internationally flavoured and most competitive class of the event, the TaG Senior class where he will compete again 79 other drivers from around the globe.

"I'm very excited to return to Las Vegas," smiles the Leamington teenager. "The event is very exciting and racing in the TaG Senior class is going to be a handful, but I am up for the challenge."

Cory's tuner and mentor J.P. Frydrychowicz will join the team in Las Vegas. Frydrychowicz has worked with Cacciavillani for many years now the duo has formed a great driver-tuner relationship, something that has really helped Cacciavillani adapt to the big jump to the Senior division.

2010 has been another great season for Cacciavilanni. He kicked it off by winning two races at the opening rounds of the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship, added another BSRKC victory at his home track in TaG Senior in the summer, earned two more club championships at the Point Pelee Karting Club (TaG Senior and Senior Medium) as well as jumped into the seat of Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship car thanks in part to Amico Racing.

The test took part on Halloween weekend at Toronto Motorsports Park. After watching ex-karter and friend Dean Fantin dial the car on the cold day in Cayuga, Cory stepped inside and drove nearly 70 laps around the 3KM road course in a race prepped BMW 330i.

"It was very cold that day in Cayuga. But the car was a lot of fun, it is much more forgiving than the open-wheel cars I tested last year. Overall I was very impressed."

The step from karts to cars is something Cacciavillani looks forward to in his future.

"I would really like to move into cars when the time is right. I've enjoyed both the open-wheel and closed-wheel cars, but I think I'd prefer to race with fenders. The Touring Car was a lot of the fun and the series is very intriguing and continues to grow every year."

But first, Cacciavillani has the trip to Las Vegas and a go-kart race to look forward to.
