TONY KART'S YOUNG STARS TRAIN WITH QUADRA SPORTS
Some of the most promising young stars from the world of karting, all of whom drive for the prestigious Tony Kart factory team in Italy and Its satellite team, have completed a three-day training course with Quadra Sports.
The Quadra Sports training course concentrated on physical training and media coaching, as well as race-craft and strategy. The nine karters - including reigning World Champion Marco Ardigo and Honda's latest protege Will Stevens - came from a variety of different formulae and countries, but they all displayed the determination to be the best in their field.
The drivers - and nationalities - were: Marco Ardigo (I), Andrea Benedetti (I), Alessandro Bressan (I), Gary Catt (GB), Davide Gaggianesi (I), Matias Laine (FIN), Antonio Piccioni (I), Will Stevens (GB) and Petri Suvanto (FIN).
The Quadra Sports training course took place near Tony Kart's headquarters in Prevalle, Italy, and covered three days - including sessions at the gym and some outdoor fitness exercises.
Ardigo, who won the Karting World Championship with Tony Kart last year, said: "I have done several training courses with Quadra Sports now, and I think that they are an essential help for any young driver who is seriously trying to make it to the top. The tips and insights I have already received have helped my career considerably, by teaching me things that I would not know normally. Both on the physical, media and sporting side, I feel that I have benefited greatly."
