Lime Rock was an interesting weekend with a 20-kart entry attacking the course counter-clockwise on a dry, but cool Friday and a full field taking the green in the wet on Saturday. Trust me, the downhill, decreasing radius turns 2 and 3 in the wet are an experience not to be missed (though many did - and more found it even tougher to negotiate backwards, if you know what I mean.)

On a nice, sunny but cool Friday, the GT1 winners, The Dark Riders, were followed home by the GT2 winners, WCTF, by only 17.611 seconds after 4 hours. Don's Duck flew to the GT40 win with Team Robbins taking the GTBB honors.

Fighting rain on-and-off, and a sometimes very crowded racetrack, Sparacio came home victorious in GT1, beating GT2 winners, Snap On Racing, by two laps plus. The Rhode Island Express took no detours to a First Place finish in GTBB, while CT Explosives blew to the top of the GT40 class.

At Charlotte, the twice-flooded out BSR/Simpson Race Products Race Team Challenge became a 2-race win streak for Ernie Irvan's Team Spy in GT1 by a mere 5.46 seconds after a battle with Chad Knaus' Team Lowe's that saw the lead change hands four times in the last half hour. Team Claussner came home first in GTBB 48 seconds back, while the Underdogs took home the top spot in GT40.

Saturday's 4-Hour came to an even closer, upset finish with Laps finishing first in GT40 and first overall by a slim 3.867 seconds over the first-placing GT1 Victory Lane Karting team. Dale Jarrett Ford took the honors in GT1 followed to the line by Action Collectibles - Atlanta, the first placing machine in GTBB and the fifth kart on the lead lap! Five karts on the same lap after 4 hours! This was truly anybody's and any class's race.
