On Victory Lane At Greenwood Valley
June 8, 2002

Steve Lenig, Selinsgrove, made a visit to The Greenwood Valley Action Track on Saturday night and moved quickly from his starting position on the second row to the lead in the 270cc Regular Micro Sprint Feature. His team mate, Todd Hoover, Mt. Pleasant Mills, tried to catch Lenig but, even in lapped traffic, could not gain the advantage. In the third spot was Jeff Furlong, Selinsgrove, in the fourth place it was Ray Peters, Shickshinny, while fifth was taken by Colby Womer, Mt. Pleasant Mills. Sixth through tenth places were claimed by Sean "Hollywood" Good, Middleburg; Eric Heydenreich, Bloomsburg; Jason Kemp, Bloomsburg; Brian Kishbaugh, Nescopeck, and Skeetz Hockenbrock, Paxinos.

In Sportsman Micro Sprint action Chad Thomas, New Berlin, was the winner while Brian Kishbaugh came through in close second place. Third was Jim Reese, Bloomsburg, fourth was Jake Starr, Millville, fifth was Craig Fox, Bloomsburg, and finally in a limited field was Rick Rubenstein, Bloomsburg.

Rookie Micro Sprint Feature, Sean Stolz, Bloomsburg, managed a victory and was surrounded by friends and family in victory circle. Stolz is in his first season of racing micros full time at The Action Track. In the second spot was Matt Bower, Selinsgrove, third was Jake Starr. In the fourth place was Dusty Jagger, Port Crane, NY, fifth, Tammy Schane, Hamlin, and in sixth was Terry Schane, also Hamlin. Bryan Terwilliger, Addison, NY, was seventh while Tim Buckwalter, Douglassville, was eighth and Deb Arner, Berwick and Jeff Schall, Hackettstown, NJ, were ninth and tenth.

Next Saturday night at The Greenwood Valley Action Track will be A.J. Walters Kid's night with extra trophies for all kids racing in any kart class. Gates open at 3, warm-ups get underway at 4:30 and racing starts at 5:30. Join us for exciting racing at The Greenwood Valley Action Track, located 3 1/2 miles east of Millville on 254, turn right on Oriole Rd, and right again on Bottom Road. See you at The Action Track.
