FIRSTKART.COM NOMINATED FOR SKI AWARDS
"Team of the Year, Rising Star and Young Driver of the Year"

Guelph, ON. -- February 17, 2006 -- Several members of First Kart North America and the FirstKart.com race team were nominated for the prestigious Super Kart Illustrated Excellence Awards that are to be handed out Saturday February 25th at the KMI Kart Expo show in St. Charles, IL. Receiving nominations for Team of the Year, Young Driver of the Year and Rising Star, FirstKart.com will look to take home all three awards at the upcoming announcement.

2005 was a great year for FirstKart.com junior drivers as they managed to claim two Stars of Kart East championships, two Stars of Karting national championships and a World Karting Association Manufactures Cup and Florida Winter Tour championship. Zach Schiff and Gustavo Yacaman were responsible for these titles and were both nominated for the Young Driver of the Year award.

Markham, Ontario's Daniel Morad received a nomination for the Rising Star award as the talented Canadian had a very successful '05 season. Morad claimed the Pro Shifter title at the Florida Winter Tour to kick the season off right and then went on to claim the ICC title in the Canadian National Championships. Morad was the youngest driver to accomplish such a feat as he was able to win the race to the checkers.

The FirstKart.com race team grew in 2005 and the arrive and drive program was in full swing. Competing on both the East and West coast, FirstKart.com staff and drivers were treated to new experiences and new tracks. With a heavy travel schedule and a lot of time on the road, the team members gelled perfectly and were able to overcome any problems that they encountered. Running up front, providing strong results and teamwork were the name of the game and the FirstKart.com race team did that with success picking up five national and countless regional championships along the way and for that received a nomination for Team of the Year.

First Kart North America and the FirstKart.com race team will have a strong presence at the KMI Kart Expo show over the February 25-26 weekend. The growing race team and company will have a booth space and some exciting announcements to make throughout the event weekend.

2006 is going to be an exciting year for the team as First Kart North America will travel to all East and West coast events in the Stars of Karting Championship, the World Karting Association Manufactures Cup and the Florida Winter Tour. Arrive and Drive opportunities are available for any interested parties.
