KARTING INTEREST SOARS AT THE 91ST ANNUAL INDIANAPOLIS 500

"Snap-on Stars of Karting presented by IndyCar Series and First Kart USA promote karting to thousands of racing enthusiasts"

Brownsburg, Indiana -- May 28, 2007 -- First Kart USA and the Snap-on Stars of Karting presented by IndyCar Series had a very strong presence at this year's 91st running of the Indianapolis 500. With a booth display in the Indy Fan Zone, officials from First Kart USA and the Snap-on Stars of Karting series provided handouts and information on karting and how to get into the sport.

With several events taking place in the Indy Fan Zone including a couple different autograph sessions with Al Unser Jr. and Scott Dixon, the karting display was jammed packed with spectators, potential karters and racing enthusiasts of all ages. With karts on display for more than 30 hours, information on the series, First kart USA and the New Castle Motorsports Park facility were available for the taking and very well received by all.

"The overall event was incredible and it was awesome to see everyone who was interested in our sport," explained First Kart USA's Director of Operations and Marketing Manager Mike Maurini. "This was the first year for us to have a display at the Indy 500 and now that we have been there, we have several ideas for next year's event and future display booths in conjunction with the Snap-on Stars of Karting Series."

"This was a great opportunity for First Kart and certainly our series but beyond these, this is such a great opportunity for the karting industry as a whole," explained Snap-on Stars of Karting Series President Paul Zalud. "Karting deserves to be a part of motorsports and this will certainly give the industry credibility. We obviously want to thank our partners, the IndyCar Series, for this opportunity."
