Horstman Gold Cup Competitors Get A Needed Boost

06.24.2008 -- Once again, the World Karting Association is making an effort to take the next step to help soften the financial challenges that many karting competitors are facing this summer. While many families are trimming down their extra curricular expenses, World Karting is offering past WKA members a discounted event membership at select upcoming national events. This event being the Michigan Kart Supply Nationals at G & J Kartway in Camden, OH on the weekend of July 4-6, 2008.

This special incentive will apply to past WKA members who competed in WKA events back to the 2005 racing season. The price for the event membership will be $15, and will be offered at the Michigan Kart Supply National event only. With a struggling economy all around, businesses around the country are trying to provide positive incentives to their consumers, hoping to survive the financial siege. The karting industry is no different.

While this continues to be a work in progress, the hope is to help alleviate the financial blow that many competitors are coming across. We want to get them to the track to race rather than having to read about the event. For more information on the Michigan Kart Supply Nationals, go to www.worldkarting.com/downloads/eb-2008/0704_gj_gc.pdf.
