Last Call For Daytona KartWeek 2008 Pre-registration
12.02.2008 - For those of you who have not taken advantage of the pre-registration opportunity for the upcoming Daytona KartWeek events, your time is running short! Wednesday, December 10th is the last day that Pre-Entry Forms will be accepted for the KartWeek events. Take advantage of price breaks on entry and practice fees, reserve your parking spot and avoid long at-track registration lines by sending in your pre-entry form for receipt at the WKA Office by December 10th.
The 2008 event will once again kickoff with a "Welcome Back to Daytona Party" hosted by Daytona International Speedway and WKA. The party is scheduled for 5 pm -- 8 pm in the Sprint FANZONE on Saturday, December 27th, the competitor load-in day. This year's party will offer free food, music and fun for all in attendance. Claim your food voucher at WKA Pit Pass Sales when arriving at the facility.
The festivities are not limited to on-track action either. The Daytona 500 Club will host the Year-End Awards Banquets for the George Kugler / Bridgestone Manufacturer's Cup Series driven by Mazda on Sunday, December 28th. And the Dunlop Tire National Road Racing Series driven by Mazda recipients, families and friends will celebrate on Monday, December 29th.
At track event registration is available should you miss pre-registration.
We look forward to seeing you at KartWeek 2008!

Successful "Town Meeting" Seminars Added Again At KartFest
12.02.2008 - KartFest 2008 hosted the first ever "Town Meeting" for the Briggs & Stratton Dirt Series in 2008. The meeting was so successful and informative that Trustee, Jerry Cole, requested we repeat this meeting and add additional meetings for the Speedway Pavement and Gold Cup Series this year at KartFest 2009. These meetings will allow the competitors, team owners, sponsors and vendors in these series the opportunity to ask the WKA Officers the questions everyone wants answers to. Mark your calendar for January 24th for these seminars. Check back for additional seminar listings.
