Attention Midwest Sprint Series Participants

06.24.2009 -- Racers competing in the upcoming Midwest Sprint Series (MWSS) event at Road America on June 27-28 have the option of competing on the YHC or YKC compound Bridgestone tire. Bridgestone is offering an on-site exchange program for those competitors who wish to switch over to the new YKC compound. There is no cost to the competitor for this exchange.

To be eligible for the exchange program, the competitor must be registered for the MWSS event and must present their existing YHC tires in new, factory wrapped condition. The tires cannot have been mounted or show visible signs of improper storage. Tires will be exchanged on a one-for-one basis only and may not be returned for credit. Each competitor will be allowed to exchange a maximum of eight tires.

Competitors may make the exchange with Kent Laukaitis of Laukaitis Racing or Jamie Sieracki of Franklin Motorsports.

Bridgestone and its distributors acknowledge the inconvenience caused by this mid-season changeover and are offering this exchange program to minimize the impact on the Midwest Sprint Series participants.
