WSK: CRG, MAXTER AND THONON WINNERS AT SALBRIS

Thanks to driver Jonathan Thonon, CRG-Maxter gained a superb victory in KZ2, on the Salbris track. "I am very happy with this success, especially after the small troubles I had in qualifiers" the Belgian driver commented. "I was only 15th on Saturday morning, but I reacted quickly, together with the whole team. During the three heats, I returned to top positions and each time I set the best time in race. Then, my objective was to win on Sunday to prove the competitiveness of my equipment".

In the pre-final, Jonathan Thonon continued his extraordinary progression and finished second, with a new recor d lap in his pocket. In the final, he managed to improve his times even more and showed his absolute leadership, helped by top-performance equipment. "My CRG chassis and Maxter engine were fantastic. This is a good omen for the end of the WSK series, and in particular for the World Cup for KZ1, in September".

Davide_Fore_KSP_103_3527.jpg After conquering the pole position and becoming the leader after the heats, with two partial victories, Davide Fore had the opportunity to bring another CRG-Maxter on the podium, but race mishaps decided otherwise. As for Rick Dreezen (CRG Holland), he staged an excellent recovery after a problem he suffered in one of the qualifying heats. Among the fastest on track, the Belgia n driver finished 5th.

Another Victory for Maxter!

"We are very satisfied with the weekend, because Maxter engines have reached the top in all the three categories competing in this WSK round" commented one of the members of the Italian engine manufacturer's staff. "On the Salbris track, which is considered very hard for mechanics, products manufactured by CRG Group have shown a very high level of performance".

After winning at Genk, Dutch driver Peter Hoevenaars (Zanardi-Maxter) reached the third step of the podium in KF3, though he was only 22nd in pre-final. French Mathieu Jaminet (Maranello-Maxter) finished third in pre-final, before abandoning in the final, while Rumanian Robert Visoiu (CRG-Maxter) confirmed his progression. In KF2, Sami Luka (DR- Maxter) and Brandon Maisano (LH-Maxter) were some of the best drivers of their category. Michelle Gatting (Maddox-Maxter) staged one of the best recoveries of the weekend, by conquering 20 places in pre-final, while Antonio A. Alarcon and Damien Dupont (VDK) did not go unnoticed at the wheel of their CRG-Maxter karts.

And in KZ2, Jonathan Thonon showed a textbook performance in the final. "In the five races he entered, Jonathan set the best lap each time", a member of his technical team added. In this 125cc gearbox category, Maxter engines prepared by Tec'Sav also gained the pole position with Davide Fore and a 5th place in the final with Rick Dreezen.
