In 14 days, the mythical 24 Hour of Le Mans, 2014 edition, will begin. The first steps of the third round in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) start with the test day, scheduled on Sunday, June 1st.

The AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italias, in both the LMGTE Pro and LMGTE Am categories, are ready for the challenge and aiming straight for the podium as they have done for the past two years, laureates in both categories for the cars and drivers of the Italian team (2012: Bruni-Fisichella-Vilander win the LMGTE Pro. 2013: Perazzini-Casè-O’Young and Gerber-Cioci-Griffin, second and third respectively in LMGTE Am).

LMGTE Pro – At Le Mans, the skilled duo composed of Gianmaria Bruni and Toni Vilander – current leaders of the LMGTE Pro in the WEC championship – will be joined by Giancarlo Fisichella, recreating the winning trio of the 2012 classic. They will be racing in the AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia #51.

Behind the wheel of the AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia #71, Davide Rigon, James Calado and Olivier Beretta will be taking up the exciting challenge.

LMGTE Am - Luis Perez Companc, Marco Cioci and Mirko Venturi – second in the LMGTE Am drivers standing in the championship – race for the top position in the Le Mans 24 hour in their Ferrari 458 Italia #61. In the Ferrari 458 Italia #62, a reliable trio thanks to Howard Blank, Yannick Mallegol and Jean-Marc Bachelier, will use their experience from last year to aim for a finish in the top 10. Steve Wyatt, Michele Rugolo and Sam Bird will be racing in the Ferrari 458 Italia #81.

Peter Mann, Lorenzo Casè and Raffaele Giammaria take part in this legendary race in their Ferrari 458 Italia #60. Still in the LMGTE Am category, AF Corse will be managing the 8 Star Motorsports Ferrari 458 Italia #90 with Gianluca Roda, Frankie Montecalvo and Paolo Ruberti.

Following the official test day, the road to the Le Mans race continues with the free practice session on Wednesday, June 11th and qualifying that Wednesday and Thursday. Saturday, June 14th, at 9 a.m. has the final race warm-up. And later that day, the 24 Hours of Le Mans begins with the green light for the rolling start at 3 p.m.
