In 1970, 'The King of Cool' Steve McQueen made a Hollywood movie about the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Using real cars and drivers, and footage from the race and private filming sessions, McQueen broke the budget and the deadline, while drivers Derek Bell and David Piper suffered serious injuries. This is the story of a film that was made without a script! But sportscar fans love it.
