TULSA, Okla. (December 11, 2003) - The clock is ticking for fans that have waited to purchase tickets for the upcoming 18th Annual O'Reilly Chili Bowl Nationals, as only 60 four-day ticket packages remain for the event to be held at Tulsa Expo Raceway on January 7-10, 2004.

In addition to the five dozen four-day ticket packages that remain, some single night tickets for Wednesday and Thursday night's qualifying action are also available. Once the remaining four-day packages are sold, only pit passes will be available for Friday night's qualifying and Saturday's Chili Bowl Nationals finale.

Thus far, 124 entries from drivers representing 19 different states from coast-to-coast have already been received. Ahead of last year's pace, it is expected that last year's total of 209 pre-entries could easily be topped.

Included among the early entries are NASCAR stars Tony Stewart and Ken Schrader, who makes his return to the Chili Bowl Nationals after an absence of ten years. Also, NHRA Funny Car hotshoe Ron Capps is slated to make his first Chili Bowl appearance after getting a taste of Chili in last year's Race of Champions.

Joining Stewart among the ranks of other past race winners already entered are Cory Kruseman, Jay Drake, Donnie Beechler and Scott Hatton.

Other top guns among the early entries include USAC triple crown champion J.J. Yeley, World of Outlaws star Danny Lasoski, National Midget Driver of the Year Aaron Fike, Kasey Kahne, Tracy Hines, Jimmy Sills, Dave Darland, P.J. Jones, Bud Kaeding, Shane Stewart, Boston Reid, A.J. Fike and Dirt Late Model standouts Rick Eckert and Bart Hartman.

The remaining tickets are available by calling the Chili Bowl ticket office at 918-838-3777 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST Monday through Friday. Additional information regarding the 18th Annual O'Reilly Chili Bowl Nationals is available at www.chilibowl.com.
