Mahindra-powered teams complete Losail test
The five Mahindra-powered teams completed the three-day pre-season test at Losail with Aspar's Jorge Martin finishing as the best rider for the constructor.
The Spanish rider was unable to improve on his time of 2m06.630 set on Saturday's second session to lead the Mahindra contingent in the Moto3 testing.
Martin ended 17th in the combined list, 1.186s off from the leader Nicolo Antonelli ahead of the season opener this weekend.
CIP's Tatsuki Suzuki was the only other Mahindra rider to dip into the 2m06s, finishing 19th overall, 0.089s shy of Martin's time.
Aspar's Francesco Bagnaia finished 23rd ahead of Platinum Bay's Darryn Binder while his teammate Karel Hanika was classified 26th.
The Peugeot riders were 29th and 30th with French Alexis Masbou leading Brit John McPhee, both running in the 2m07s.
Once again the Aspar and Peugeot riders tested the aero winglets introduced in the Jerez test but it is still unknown how effective the striking addition has been.
The last three positions were filled by Stefano Valtulini (Team Italia) at 31st, teammate Lorenzo Petrarca 32nd and CIP's Fabio Spiranelli 33rd.
