2026 MotoGP Italian Grand Prix – How to watch, session times & more

MotoGP travels to Mugello this weekend for the seventh round of the season. Here's the full schedule for the 2026 Italian Grand Prix.

Mugello plays host to the Italian Grand Prix on 29-31 May.

Unsurprisingly, Ducati has a strong track record on home turf, having won the last four editions of the Italian GP. Francesco Bagnaia won three races in a row at Mugello between 2022-24, before Marc Marquez brought more joy for the factory Ducati Team last year.

Coincidentally, Mugello marks Marquez's return to the paddock after he missed Sunday at Le Mans and the entire Catalan GP weekend due to injury.

However, Ducati will face a stern challenge this weekend from Aprilia, which has won four out of the six grands prix held so far. Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martin are expected to be the main challengers for victory on the factory RS-GPs, but Trackhouse duo Raul Fernandez and Ai Ogura could also contend for the podium.

Two notable riders will be absent from this weekend following a crash-filled Catalan Grand Prix. Alex Marquez will miss his first race since 2023, with Gresini bringing in Ducati test rider Michele Pirro as his replacement. LCR rider Johann Zarco has also been sidelined from the race , with Cal Crutchlow making a surprise comeback aboard the satellite Honda.
