After the race in Czech Republic the MotoGP championship makes a stop at Silverstone, The English temple of motorcycle racing. The Pramac Racing Team goes back on tack after a bitter-sweet weekend and is ready for the twelfth round.
Andrea Iannone finished the race in Brno with an excellent fifth place. The goal at Silverstone is to continue to give confirmations in qualifying and seek greater consistency during the race, which means gaining those few seconds that pide him from the podium. It is also an open battle in the overall standings, where the Espargaro’ brothers are just a handful of points ahead. The key word in this case is only one (or rather two): double overtake!
Yonny Hernandez (EnergyT.I. Pramac Racing) is looking for redemption after three not so exciting. The Colombian rider appeared in good form in the test held at Brno on Monday after the race and tried some setting that might be useful this English weekend. Yonny is very determined and wants to get absolutely in the points. If conditions permit it to attack the top ten.
Andrea Iannone (Pramac Racing): "I'm happy with the work we have done at Misano, we used the time on the track to setup the bike for the race. Last year was a tough weekend at Silverstone, but a year has passed and after the good result of Brno I think positive. We need to focus on finding a good setup from the first practice session so we can be more competitive in the race. Our goal from here on is to try to repeat the good results we made so far and to reduce the gap to the front. "
Yonny Hernandez (EnergyT.I. Pramac Racing): "I'm happy to be here at Silverstone this is a track that I like a lot. In Moto2 races here I did well. I hope to do a better result compared to the last few races, here I have a chance to do well, I worked a lot with the team to prepare work for this weekend and find a good setup. In tests at Brno we made some small steps forward and I hope to see the results here in England."
