The Race:
Fiorenzo Caponera (Team Manager)

125 c.c.

"The race of Arnaud will surely be one of those that will pass in the history of the annalses of the motorcycling. The French Pilot has been persecuted in all the turns of tests by problems of power of the propeller and by a series of small owed unforeseen event more to the adversity that to other, but Arnaud has succeeded in keeping a notable calm. The team has followed him and at the end only in the warm up the engine has started to "to play" the music that we know. Vincent has started in 16 ^ position and then with a rhythm of race impressive he is freed of all the adversaries that separated him from the head of the race and he are brought behind the first 3 pilots that in the turns of tests had unsheathed times on the turn for him unattainable. After a long phase of study and of attended to around 5 turns by the end Arnaud has begun the attack first on Poggiali then on Pedrosa and finally on the favorite adversary Cecchinello, which has awkwardly tried to withstand him all the costs and is ruinously rolled on the asphalt. But today to withstand to Arnaud was not really possible.."

250 cc.

"Also for Franco the one of today has been a race where there has been need to work so much to the search of a debugging of the setting that almost seemed impossible. At the end a crash in the warm up has subsequently complicated the things. The Pilot despite the difficulties has shown in this season to have made ahead an important footstep in the attainment of the constancy of performances that will do of him a dangerous adversary. Good the start of Batta and excellent the behavior of competition immediately behind the official Melandris and Nieto. Only to the last turn, when a light decrease of performances of the tyres has forced him to give some tenth to the turn to another official motorbike, Franco has surrendered the podium to Elias with great maturity. Strategically perfect he is however the first one in absolute of the private riders."
