CARDOSO IS READY TO GO BACK ON TRACK, SILVA WILL REPLACE HOFMANN

The MotoGP World Championship is coming back after 3 weeks of summer break. The 12th round will be this Sunday 20th August on the famous track of Brno, one of the most beautiful circuit of the calendar. The German Alex Hofmann, that will race on the official Ducati of the injured rider Sete Gibernau, will be replaced by the Spanish Ivan Silva, therefore at his third race in the MotoGP class ; while the Spanish Jose Luis Cardoso can't wait to ride again on this track he likes a lot.

The first session of free practice will be on Friday 18th August at 10.00 a.m., local time.

Luis d'Antin (Team Manager): "We are ready to go back on track, the summer break has allowed everybody to have some rest after the real "tour de force" of the preceding months. We are heading to the Czech track of Brno, a circuit we all know very good and where we hope to obtain a good result. There will be a surprise: the return of Ivan Silva. It will be a new opportunity for him, hoping he will be able to take advantage of the experience he made in the races he made with our Team this year. CARDOSO know this track very well and this will allow us to work in the best way. This race is an important appointment for all the MotoGP European supporters that do follow this round with much enthusiasm. It will be our task to make the maximum to satisfy them and all the sponsors that are supporting our Team".

Jose Luis Cardoso #30: "I know this track and I like it very much. I raced there last year as well, in the Superbike class, and I always had a good feeling on this circuit. After the summer break, I am happy to go back on track on this circuit, let's hope to have more luck and that everything will go in the best way, I really want to obtain a good result".

Ivan Silva #22: "I didn't expect it and it has been a really nice surprise. After the races in Assen and Donington, I'm glad to get another possibility to make one more race in the MotoGP class, this time with more experience. I will make the maximum not to disappoint the people that believe in me. I would like to thank Luis d'Ant
