Czech GP: Pramac D'Antin race notes

A DIFFICULT RACE IN CZECH REPUBLIC FOR THE TEAM PRAMAC D'ANTIN MOTOGP

Today on the circuit of Brno, one of the longest track of the 2006 MotoGP World Championship's calendar, took place the race of the MotoGP class, and the Spanish IVAN SILVA ended it in 18th with the DUCATI DESMOSEDICI GP06 "Sat.". The rider from Barcelona, substituting for the third time the German ALEX HOFMANN, also managed to improve the best laptime he did on Saturday with the race tyres. JOSE LUIS CARDOSO, not satisfied about the performance of the tyres, retired himself after six laps. The next race will be on the 10th September at Sepang, Malaysia, just before two other races out of Europe, in Japan and Malaysia.

IVAN SILVA #22 (18th): "I'm happy because I ended another MotoGP race. I managed to improve my laptimes and I rode faster at the end of the race when the tyres were consumed. This means a lot to me, we made good progresses. The Team has been assisting me very well during the whole weekend, helping me to correct my driving style and to be more regular.
