Ducati needs a change of approach - Dovizioso
Ducati rider Andrea Dovizioso reckons the marque's factory team needs to focus on consistency over outright pace for the upcoming MotoGP rounds.

Despite the Desmosedici GP16s being among the quickest bikes at most venues MotoGP visit, the two Ducati works riders are currently only 10th and 11th in the standings.
And while a crash on Sunday at Le Mans brought on Dovizioso's third consecutive non-score, the Italian appears more concerned about his race pace before the accident.
Dovizioso was up to second in the early stages, but couldn't keep pace with Jorge Lorenzo and instead dropped into the clutches of Valentino Rossi at a rapid rate.
"Not happy about the race because we have the speed, we can be fast in practice, at the beginning of the race, but I think today was an important race to understand what we have to do for the future," said Dovizioso.
"The positive thing is, we have the speed - and this is so important in MotoGP.
"But my opinion in this moment is [that] we have to think in a different way. Until now, we try to be faster and faster and faster and we get the speed, this is really good, we have the base - but we don't have the consistency.
"I believe we use too much the rear tyre, we use too much the energy to be fast, so it's difficult to keep for the race. To be in front, to stay with Yamaha riders, we have to be consistent. I think our goal is to try to be as fast as now with less energy and less aggressiveness to the tyre."
Crash was "my mistake"
Dovizioso conceded, however, that the crash which ended his race shortly after the halfway point was entirely his fault.
"I'm very disappointed about the crash, but anyway, it was my mistake," he said.
"I just have two degrees more of lean angle, it was enough to lose the front.
"The front tyre work very well during the weekend, also in the race, but this is the characteristic of Michelin - everybody crash in the same way. You never feel you are over the limit, just if you push a little bit more it can happen and you lose the front.
"Me and Marc [Marquez] - we crash in the same way, like all the riders, but it's the same for everybody, everybody have to manage this characteristic, it's not a problem."
