Lorenzo not backing down from Rossi criticism

Lorenzo sparked a spat with long-time teammate and rival Rossi after the Misano race when he questioned Rossi's "aggressive" overtake from the early stages of the grand prix.

Following the argument, the Spaniard was left unhappy over Rossi's demeanour in the press conference, while the Italian said he would not allow his teammate to call him a "dirty rider".

Lorenzo had stressed during the row that he had not seen the footage of the incident. Asked two weeks on at Aragon whether the footage changed his outlook, the reigning champion said it instead strengthened his viewpoint.

"Actually, I think stronger – I keep my opinion stronger," Lorenzo said in the Aragon Grand Prix Thursday press conference, where Rossi was also present.

"Because on the bike I can't see his line, and on the video I can see how his line was.

"So, yeah, I still believe in that opinion."

Intra-team relationship unchanged

For his part, Rossi maintained he has no reservations about his overtake at Misano – and said his relationship with same as it had been last year.

"It was a beautiful, great overtake. I liked it a lot," Rossi said.

"I think, after the last race of last year, my relationship with Jorge has remained the same. We've always had our own ideas."
