Vinales told Motorsport.com yesterday that Suzuki, his current team, gave him the approval, and that it will be a big help when working on acclimatising to the Yamaha.
"When we signed the contract it was made clear that I would be allowed to ride the bike. It's much better, because that way I can adapt faster," Vinales said.
In the same test that will take place in Cheste-based track once the championship ends, Lorenzo will also make his Ducati debut, in which will his first ride with the Desmosedici - presumably the same bike Andrea Dovizioso and Iannone have used this year.
In this case, the Italian manufacturer, the Spanish rider and Yamaha are negotiating which decorations the rider and the bike will sport during the test, although, as it is usually the case, they are very likely to carry no sponsors.
Iannone, meanwhile, will have the opportunity to test the Suzuki GSX-RR, and so will Alex Rins, in what will be his debut on the heavier premier-class bikes. Aleix Espargaro will also be running in the test with the Aprilia, while his brother Pol tests the KTM.
Honda ahead with its 2017 bike
Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa already know the base of the engine that will be used for their bikes next year.
Both Honda riders ran with it during the test that took place at Misano after the San Marino Grand Prix, and they will be in action again on Tuesday at Motorland.
In order to to gather as much data as possible, the Japanese manufacturer will probably use Cal Crutchlow as well, to get his opinion about the new engine.
"I won't test it on the same day as them, but I will test it," the Briton confirmed.
