Points leader Marquez and Repsol Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa were both given a new frame to try when they visited Brno last month for a two-day test.
This was aimed at curing the acceleration deficit that has plagued the Honda riders so far this year and has led to them having to take more risks under braking than their rivals.
However, Marquez confirmed he would be sticking to the chassis he has used for the first nine races of 2017 for Brno, while Pedrosa will not use the new frame either.
"We tried several things [in the test], including a chassis, especially with a view to next year," Marquez said. "We are still missing something on the exit of the corner.
"But we will not use it [for the Brno race] because I feel more comfortable with the one I have used so far."
Nevertheless, Marquez said he was happy with how the test went, as it gave it encouragement that Honda is pushing hard to fix the weaknesses of the RC213V.
"I was happy because I saw a lot of Japanese staff [present for the test] pushing a lot, we're improving in some areas," he added. "I'm really happy with the work they did."
LCR Honda rider Cal Crutchlow was also present for the Brno test along with Marquez and Pedrosa for one of the two days, but said he did not have any new parts to try.
"We didn't test anything new," said the Briton. "We tested the stuff Michelin is bringing here this weekend tyre-wise, bike-wise we just tried settings.
"But we didn't put any parts on the bike we haven't already tested."
