Pedrosa or Lorenzo- The only contenders for the 2010 Moto GP title

Dani Pedrosa is fighting for Moto GP Championship against Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo, who ranks first in the overall standings with a 56-point advantage. Also, if you like to bet on sports, you should consider that Lorenzo emerges as the favorite to win his first title in the 2010 Moto GP.

Pedrosa joined the motorcycling world in 2001, taking only three seasons to win his first championship. In 2004, he repeated his success in 250cc class that he won again in 2005, thereby achieving a third consecutive title.

However, it will be very difficult for Pedrosa to overtake Lorenzo in the overall standings, although there are several important factors that could contribute to Dani.

The 24-year-old rider, Pedrosa, is going through the best moment of his career, considering that he had never managed four wins in a season. Furthermore, in the last three races, Dani has reduced 21 points of difference with Lorenzo.

For his part, with only five dates left for the end of the 2010 Moto GP Championship, Lorenzo denied his interest in breaking records, as he only can think of becoming world champion.

"My intention is to be World Champion. Nothing else interests me, not the records or being bigger than others. I want to be the best now and demonstrate this on the track," Lorenzo said in an interview with FHM Collections.

Grand Prix of Japan will be held on next Sunday October 3rd, in which Lorenzo will seek to repeat the victory achieved last season at Motegi Circuit.

Finally, the 2010 Moto GP champion will be decided between Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa, and the only certain thing is that the champion of this season will a Spaniard.
