Pedrosa tired of telling "same story every day" amid form slump

Honda rider Dani Pedrosa has said he is in a "very bad downward spiral" after finishing a subdued 12th in the Czech motorcycle Grand Prix at Brno.

The Spaniard has struggled to run up front in the first half of the 2016 season, complaining about a lack of confidence in the Michelin tyres, which he perceives as too hard.

And now, from Assen onwards, the French manufacturer changed its grooved tyres, making Pedrosa lose the good feeling he had enjoyed with wet-weather rubber as well.

"The main problem is that, for one reason or another, we are in a very bad downward spiral. It's very hard to find a good feeling and happy days. It's a very complicated moment, but I know I have to get through it," Pedrosa said.

At Brno, the Honda rider raced with the two softest options, both on the front and the rear. Despite that, he only lapped below the 2m11s mark on four occasions (from the fourth lap to the seventh), a stat that highlights his struggles over the 22-lap race.

"Before, in the rain we had a good feeling, but since the change they introduced in Holland it hasn't been the same," Pedrosa continued.

"This moment is very hard because of the impotence it generates to not be able to give more and fix it quickly, not being able to find a solution, and getting no results despite giving 1000 percent.

"Obviously I would love to find a solution in order not to have to tell the same story every day, but right now, unfortunately, we can't find it. That makes everything I say sound very repetitive."
