There was a collective sigh of release from the MotoGP paddock - both on site and at home - when the chequered flag fell on the Portuguese Grand Prix, bringing to an end the series' wildest campaign in memory.

A punishing scheduled of 14 races in 18 weeks beginning on July 19 courtesy of the delays forced by the coronavirus took its toll on all, but the journey was one all are grateful to have been able to take.
