After the opening of the Salon de l'Auto Sport in Quebec City last Friday, Alex Tagliani and the 22 Racing team unveiled a new sponsor for 2018 in RONA, which joins EpiPen, St-Hubert and Spectra Premium as sponsors for the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

Created in 1939, RONA is a banner of Lowe’s Canada, one of Canada’s leading home improvement companies with 496 stores in various formats across Canada.

Last year, Tagliani No. 18 car ran with the sponsorship of Lowe’s, but in May of last year, Lowe's Companies, Inc. announced that it had completed the acquisition of RONA inc., therefore the new logo on the Tagliani’s car.

"I am extremely proud to welcome a co-title sponsor that will please Canadian motorsport fans. RONA is a well-known brand name partnering with Tagliani Autosport/22 Racing for the next two racing seasons," said Alex Tagliani.

“I would like to also thank EpiPen for believing in me for the past six years. It's a partnership that I hold dear to my heart. I would also like to thank my other sponsors: Rotisserie St-Hubert with whom we recently produced hilarious videos that you will be able to watch on their Facebook page, and also Spectra Premium, a technical partner for Tagliani Autosport. We cannot wait to start challenging for the 2018 championship honours with car 18 and to defend our win at the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières," concluded Tagliani.

The 2018 season of the NASCAR Pinty’s Series will begin May 20th with the Clarington 200 on Canadian Tire Motorsport Park’s road course, Ontario as part of the Victoria Day SpeedFest event.
