Two-time series’ champion, Andrew Ranger (Dodge No. 27) claimed pole position on Friday with a time of 1m17.912, and qualified ahead of Alex Tagliani (Chevrolet No. 18), Daniel Morad of Toronto (Dodge No. 06) and Kevin Lacroix (Dodge No. 74).

Moments after the green, Daniel Morad makes his way to the front and takes the lead. One lap later, Lacroix powers ahead of Morad and leads from Ranger, Morad, Tagliani and D.J. Kennington.

Anthony Simone dives into the pits, his car in fire.

The top four are battling fiercely, bumper to bumper. Lacroix is under intense pressure from Ranger. Morad is third ahead of Alex Tagliani.

D.J. Kennington retires with a lot of smoke underneath the hood. On lap 7, Ranger finds a way past Lacroix at the end of the long straightway. And Ranger immediately pulls away from his rivals. Tagliani passes Morad for third place. Then, Tagliaini puts intense pressure on Lacroix.

But Morad retakes third place from Tagliani! Moments later, on lap 9, Jason White just slides into the tire barrier to bring out a full course caution, which eliminates Ranger’s two-second lead.

The race is restarted on lap 16. Ranger retakes the lead ahead of Morad. Tagliani is third ahead of Lacroix, but the cars are starting to slide.

On lap 19, Morad passes Ranger at the end of the long straighwatway. The top three are almost glued to one another!

On lap 22, Ranger misses his braking and Tagliani gets through. Meanwhile, Lacroix, Jason Hattaway and Robin Buck are battling for fourth place.

Morad’s car is sliding seriously, and he taps the wall, allowing Tagliani to take the lead.

Lap 26 - Tagliani and Ranger break away from the pack with 10 laps to go. Then, Lacroix and Hathaway touch, sending the No. 3 car of Hathway in a spin. Moments later, Lacroix is battling against Robin Buck. The two rub wheels, and Buck’s car suffers a flat tire.

Lap 29 - Full course caution as two cars, including the one of Patrick Dussault hit the wall.

Lap 31, under the yellows, Tagliani leads Ranger, Morad, Lacroix, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin, Kerry Micks, Gary Klutt, Peter Klutt, Alex Labbé, Cayden Lapcevich, Jean-François Dumoulin, Matthew Scannell and Jason Hathway.

We will have a green-white-checkered finish as Tagliani leads with Ranger and Morad. Show time!

Green, and Tagliani takes the lead. White flag for Tag.

Tagliani and Ranger run the last corners nose to tail, sliding from one side of the track to the other, but Tagliani keeps his cool and takes the checkered flag.

Ranger arrives home in second place, ahead of Lacroix and Louis-Philippe Dumoulin. Kerry Micks, Gary Klutt, Daniel Morad, Cayden Lapcevich, Peter Klutt and Jean-François Dumoulin complete the top 10.
