Hamilton, ON: The #27 Wal-mart/Tide Ford Fusion driven by Andrew Ranger and prepared by Jacombs Racing is set to take to the track at Barrie Speedway this Sunday, July 1st, Canada Day for the Mopar 300.
Ranger has the envious position of being the points leader heading into this event, #3 of the twelve race NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Tour. In only his third stock car event Ranger won the Dickies 200 on Father's Day at Mosport International Raceway.
NCATS practice is from Noon - 1 p.m. and again from 2 - 3:00 p.m. with Time Trials set for 5:30, Autograph session is slated to start at 7:15 with the green flag set to wave at 8:45 for the Mopar 300.
Jacombs Racing prepare the #27 Ford Fusion that will be driven by Andrew Ranger in all 12 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series events in 2007. Alex Tagliani will also join Ranger as a teammate in the Trois Rivieres Grand Prix where team sponsor Wal-Mart is a presenting sponsor of the event. Jacombs racing will also field the #88 car for Robin Buck in the three remaining road course events, the Edmonton Grand Prix, the NASCAR Busch weekend event in Montreal and the Grand Prix of Trois Rivieres.
