Jeff Lapcevich competes in final NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race of season; Fastline Motorsports driver subbing for brother at Kawartha Speedway

HAMILTON, ONTARIO (September 26, 2008) -- Once again driver Jeff Lapcevich will be flying the Fastline Motorsports Tim Hortons Team colors in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, this time for the Dodge Dealers of Ontario Ram 250 at Kawartha Speedway.

The road racing ace, who has run a limited schedule of selected events in the series this season has taken over the driving in the final three events of the season as brother and regular driver Jim Lapcevich has prior business commitments.

At first Jeff was having some setup issues driving his brother's car, but said he is ready and prepared for Kawartha.

"I'm pretty comfortable with Jim's Tim Hortons Chevy Monte Carlo now," he said. "It's a little different from what I'm used to, but now it's okay."

Lapcevich, who has dominated the road circuits of the series in the past, has raced at Kawartha Speedway and enjoys the track.

"We've run pretty well at Kawartha," he commented. "It's a good two lane track and promotes good side by side racing."
