By the time the caution flew at lap 141 Simone headed down pit road for much needed changes. The team gave him new tires and fuel but the braking system was not to be fixed and Simone held on for a tenth place finish. "I am really disappointed tonight as I think we could have been a top five tonight for sure," stated Simone after the race. "We are looking forward to the next race at Trois Rivieres though as our road course program has been really strong this year."
Andrew Ranger won his fourth race of the season followed closely by Scott Steckly and rounding out the top three was D. J. Kennington.
