Riverside: Jim Lapcevich race notes

Tenth place finish for Jim Lapcevich at NASCAR event in Nova Scotia

ANTIGONISH, NOVA SCOTIA (September 16, 2007) -- Jim Lapcevich finished tenth in Sunday's Atlantic Dodge Dealers 300 driving the EMCEA Transport -- Tim Hortons Monte Carlo at Riverside Speedway in Antigonish, Nova Scotia in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series.

CASCAR "Antigonish is an awesome track, and we had a great race car," said Lapcevich. "The #25 car qualified well and we were running good. Unfortunately, we were lapped at about the 200 mark while running sixth. After a push by the #4 car onto pit road, which I appreciated we were first inline for the Lucky Dog that would have put us back on the lead lap when we ran out of fuel and had to pit which pretty much finished us from a higher finish."

Lapcevich started the race on row four after qualifying the EMCEA Transport -- Tim Hortons Chevrolet eighth.

"Overall I'm pleased with the top-ten finish, we're looking forward to finishing the season off next weekend at Kawartha," he added.
