A former IndyCar competitor, Montreal’s Alex Tagliani is the second professional driver, joining Jean-François Dumoulin, to compete in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series with the enterprise’s latest technological innovation, the NSCR100 radiator, engineered and manufactured in Canada.
A few weeks ago, it was announced that Tagliani’s car would also carry the Lowe’s Canada sponsorship this season. The NASCAR Canadian national series will begin on Canadian Tire Motorsport Park’s road course in May.
"It's really amazing to have a sponsor but at the same time, a partner that wants to get involved in the development of products to use in our series," Tagliani told Motorsport.com.
Jason Best Senior Vice President, Aftermarket, Spectra Premium, declared: “The NSCR100 high performance radiator is the realization of a strong collaboration between two teams, Dumoulin Competition and Spectra Premium, working closely together to develop a radiator that optimizes air flow to improve on-track engine and overall car performance as validated during Jean-François’ recent on-track testing session.
“Alex’s addition to our motor sports team will avail our engineers to additional data, thereby allowing us to continually improve the performance and reliability of our products to ultimately provide optimal performance parts for the complete Spectra Premium radiator product line,” Best added.
