WHITLOCK GEARED UP FOR FIRST RACE OF '06

Wyoming, ON, May 16, 2006: The #39 Whitlock Motorsports/NTN-Bower/Nitrex Metal Technologies Dodge Charger team is geared up for the first race of the 2006 CASCAR Super Series Tour this weekend at Barrie Speedway. The Go-Racing.ca 300 will consist of time trials and two 50 lap qualifying races on Saturday evening with the 250 lap main event on Sunday evening. Barrie Speedway will also host three of their regular divisions with qualifying heats and features over the two day weekend.

"We are all set to go," stated a confident Whitlock at his motorsports facility located just outside of Sarnia Ontario. "We are determined to give Don Thomson a run for his money this year and try to earn our fourth National Championship" he added. "Our guys have been working hard in the shop all winter and we know our NTN-Bower/NMT Dodge Chargers are up to challenge. Thomson is a fierce competitor and it won't be easy but we plan to do what it takes to knock him off the top spot."
