The #00 Domino's Pizza Toyota to Roll Off 24th at Atlanta
Atlanta, GA -- David Reutimann, driver of the #00 Domino's Pizza Toyota in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series for Michael Waltrip Racing, qualified 24th today for the Kobalt Tools 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
"I'm excited for my team, and sponsor. These guys worked extremely hard this week and I believe it showed today," said David
David delivered the fourth fastest time of the non-point teams at 189.701 mph, which was good enough to put the #00 Domino's Pizza Toyota in the field for Sunday's race. Immediately after David crossed the finish line the #00 Domino's Pizza team knew they would be racing this Sunday.
"Now we can work on getting the car ready for the race on Sunday. It's important for us to come out of Atlanta with a solid finish; to try and get in the top 35 in points," said Reutimann.
Watch for Raybestos Rookie of the Year contender David Reutimann and the #00 Domino's Pizza Toyota this Sunday at Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Kobalt Tools 500. More information can be found on the Web at www.teamdominos.com.
