Schrader's Thoughts On Atlanta Motor Speedway...

"Atlanta hasn't been one of my favorite tracks since they reconfigured it a few years ago, but the racing has gotten better every time we go to the track. Over the past few years, the groove has widened, and we have seen some really exciting racing with a lot of passing and lead changes. Sunday should be a pretty exciting day for the drivers and the fans."

"M&M's"® Racing At Atlanta Motor Speedway...

* The "M&M's"® Racing Team is hoping to finish the 2002 season on a high note, so Kenny Schrader and the crew spent Tuesday and Wednesday of this week at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The team spent the two-day test session preparing for the season finale, which is three weeks away.

* "M&M's"® driver Kenny Schrader recorded his third Winston Cup victory at Atlanta Motor Speedway in the spring of 1991. Schrader scored the win after starting from fifth place. Schrader has had other success at the 1.5-mile track. He has eight top-10 finishes including three top fives at Atlanta.

* The "M&M's"® Racing Team has strong ties to the Atlanta area which makes the trip to 1.5-mile speedway a homecoming of sorts for the No. 36 team. Georgia is home to two of the three MB2 Motorsports owners - Read Morton and Tom Beard. Both Morton and Beard live and work in the Atlanta area. The team's third owner, Nelson Bowers, resides in Tennessee.

* Schrader won't be the only "M&M's"® driver hoping to go to Victory Lane this weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway. "M&M's"® truck driver Johnny 'Rocker' Mims will be competing in the International Truck Challenge on Saturday morning. Rocker will be one of about 20 big rig drivers who will tackle the obstacle course in hopes of scoring top honors. The driver who completes it the fastest with the least problems takes the title and bragging rights.
